Stretch goals

$8,000: WOOHOO!

We’ve reached our goal and can now afford to print at least the first three issues of Escape From Jesus Island in full, glorious color. Much merriment ensues. As thanks for your support, all Kickstarter rewards will now be sent out with a FREE ESCAPE FROM JESUS ISLAND STICKER.

$10,000: BAG AND BOARD ‘EM!

We can afford to bag and board every comic book sent out as a Kickstarter reward. This allows us to help you protect the product of our hard work and your investment. As  a reward, WE WILL POST THE FIRST THREE PAGES OF ISSUE 1.

$12,500: MUTANT BABIES!

At the end of Act One (the first eight issues), we’ll release a one-off comic featuring Jesus, Damien and the mutant horde as infants undertaking Muppet Babies-style adventures (except with a higher body count). All Kickstarter supporters at the $25 or higher tiers will receive a free PDF download of this special issue.

$15,000: EXPANDED MERCHANDISE!

We’ll expand the Escape From Jesus Island clothing line to include women’s styles, long-sleeve shirts, hoodies and tank tops. Reward tiers will be unlocked and existing pledges can be increased to add these items to your reward.

$17,500: MUTANT COMPENDIUM!

All Kickstarter supporters at the $25 or higher tiers will receive a FREE PDF MUTANT COMPENDIUM, featuring concept art of our favorite freaks from Act One of Escape From Jesus Island.

$20,000: ACT ONE COMPLETE!

We can now afford to print the first 8 issues of Escape From Jesus Island in full, glorious color. At this point, we’ll add a new reward option, allowing you to pre-order issues 4-8. As a reward for your support, all contributors of $25 or more will receive a Certificate of Absolution. That’s right, you will be fully absolved of all past sins by EFJI writer (and Church of Universal Life minister since 1990) Shawn French.

$22,500: CHRISTMAS ON JESUS ISLAND!

After Season Two of Escape From Jesus Island, we will make a 32-page, one-off comic in which a young Damien teaches everyone the true meaning of Christmas… and then kills them. All Kickstarter supporters at the $25 or higher tiers will receive a free PDF download of this special issue.

$25,000: PARIAH FIGURINE!

We’ll release a very special mini. The Pariah figurine (above), made by the FX artists at the Shoggoth Assembly. The seven-headed monstrosity known in Biblical prophecy as The Beast will make a fantastic addition to any horror fan’s collection. A new reward category will be unlocked to order Pariah. Existing pledges can be increased to add the Pariah Figurine to your reward.

$30,000: ACT ONE COMPILED!

In addition to printing the entirety of Act One of Escape From Jesus Island, we’ll compile it into a hard-cover edition jam packed with bonus materials and concept artwork by Mortimer Glum. A must-own for all collectors.

$32,500: BEHIND THE SCREAMS- LIFE ON JESUS ISLAND

After the completion of Act Three, we’ll release a documentary-style one-off in which the mutant freaks of Escape From Jesus Island candidly discuss what it’s like to be a comic book character and the challenges of working with a method actor like Damien.

$35,000: GOLIATH AND PALSY FIGURINES!

Another special mini is unleashed! This time around, the mutant pals Goliath and Palsy are getting in on the fun as a sculpture by the FX artists at The Shoggoth Assembly. A new reward category will be unlocked to order Goliath and Palsy. Existing pledges can be increased to add this mini to your reward.

$40,000: ACT TWO COMPLETE!

We can now afford to print the first 16 issues of Escape From Jesus Island in full, glorious color. A new reward category will be unlocked, allowing you to pre-order issues 4-16.

$45,000: JESUS AND DAMIEN FIGURINE!

We’ll release a third mini, this one featuring Jesus and his homicidal freak of a brother Damien squaring off. Created by the FX artists at The Shoggoth Assembly. A new reward category will be unlocked to order the Jesus and Damien figurine. Existing pledges can be increased to add this mini to your reward.

$50,000: ACT TWO COMPILED!

We’ll compile Issues 9-16 of Escape From Jesus Island into a gorgeous full-color, hard-cover edition jam packed with bonus materials and concept artwork by Mortimer Glum.

$55,000: LITHE PREACHING FIGURINE!

Our fourth mini will be Damien’s mentor, Lithe, with the Antichrist’s Unholy Bible. Created by the FX artists at The Shoggoth Assembly. A new reward category will be unlocked to order the Lithe figurine. Existing pledges can be increased to add this mini to your reward.

$60,000: ACT THREE COMPLETE!

We can now afford to print the first 24 issues of Escape From Jesus Island in full, glorious color. A new reward category will be unlocked, allowing you to pre-order issues 4-24.

$70,000: ACT THREE COMPILED!

We’ll compile Issues 17-24 of Escape From Jesus Island into a gorgeous full-color, hard-cover edition jam packed with bonus materials and concept artwork by Mortimer Glum.

$75,000: GIFT A CAMEO!

Every Kickstarter supporter who earned a cameo in Act One through their pledge can GIVE AWAY A CAMEO IN ACT TWO TO A FRIEND FOR FREE.

$80,000: ACT FOUR COMPLETE!

We can now afford to print the first 32 issues of Escape From Jesus Island in full, glorious color. At this point, we’ll add a new reward option, allowing you to pre-order issues 4-32.

$90,000: SEASON FOUR COMPILED!

We’ll compile Issues 25-32 of Escape From Jesus Island into a gorgeous full-color, hard-cover book jam packed with bonus materials and concept artwork by Mortimer Glum.

$100,000: SERIES COMPLETE!

We can now afford to print the entire 40-issue series of Escape From Jesus Island in full glorious color! A new reward option will be unlocked, allowing you to pre-order issues 4-40.

$250,000: EFJI GOES FULL-TIME!

At this point, the EFJI crew can quit their day jobs and work on creating the series full-time! We’ll pay ourselves enough to live (pay bills, eat, ect.) and spend the rest of the money on setting up the company, hiring Morty some sacrificial lambs…erm, I mean ‘help’, and begin building the Jesus Island empire for your enjoyment!
