It’s time for our very first Mutant Deathmatch! Tell us who would win and why and we’ll enter you in a drawing to win an image of the mutant you picked, signed by Mortimer Glum. Read below for the Tale of the Tape and fight breakdown…
In the red corner…
Pariah, Beast of the Unholy Seven (aka The Beast)
Height: 7’2”
Weight: 377 pounds
Reach: 87”
Strengths: Claws, horns, seven sets of snapping jaws, fast, crazed voracity
Weaknesses: Fearless. No respect for Goliath or any other creature except the Antichrist.
Keys to Victory: Smother Goliath and frenzy. Get inside his guard and tear him up with fangs and horns. Take the fight to the ground if possible.
In the blue corner…
Goliath
Height: 8’1”
Weight: 612 pounds
Reach: 95”
Strengths: Unrivaled physical strength, tremendous pain tolerance, incredible mass, smart fighter
Weaknesses: Not much in the way of defense. It’s hard to miss something his size.
Keys to Victory: Keep Pariah at arm’s length and connect with one of those right hooks that can fell a tree. The Beast has weapons everywhere, so avoid grappling.
Fight breakdown:
Towering above the pack at a height of 8’1, Goliath has long been considered unbeatable among the mutants on Jesus Island. Raised into a life of servitude by ReGen Corp CEO Anna Thorne, Goliath serves as her enforcer in exchange for protection for his diminutive mutant friend Palsy. In addition to off-the-charts strength, Goliath is extremely intelligent and knows how to best take advantage of his size. No mutant has ever presented a serious challenge to Goliath, the undisputed badass of Jesus Island.
But deep in Damien’s Lair, a contender arises. Pariah, Beast of the Unholy Seven. The seven-headed Beast of Biblical prophecy. With six horns on his heads, plus one on each elbow and knee, Pariah is built for destruction. This berserk monster from the depths of Hell destroys everything in his path and if Goliath is next, so be it.
